Former Congressman Bob Ney is on the air. Monday from 1-3pm marks the debut of Ney's career as a talk host.
Media in the Valley already generating a buzz.
WTRF interviewed me earlier in the week. I'm not sure how Mr. Ney will feel about the headline: "Ney joins forces with Howard Monroe".
WTOV does a goood job of pulling together some of Ney's background (the highs and the lows) as well as talking to some people on the street.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle and of your busy morning, take a minute to reflect each day on the bigger picture.
I believe that Congressman Ney is a good man that made a bad choice! He took his punishment like a man and paid his debt to society. Let us not forget the time and effort he put in on getting the Section 201 implimented as well as many other things. God bless you Congressman and welcome back. It's wonderful to hear your voice.

Choices made by all us, are wrong at one time or the other. No one goes out of their way to destroy their lives or self esteem, yet we all make the wrong choices at times. Mr. Ney provided quality service to the people in his district. It is a shame to only remember a transgression. The public needs to support his return to public life, give him a chance. Listen with an open mind.

Bob:
You add such great insight and balance to the "KING"

Criminal record aside, Bob Ney is the embodiment of the cancer at the core of our modern democracy. The influence of money on our representatives, a system the former congressman was all too willing to exploit, is a large part of the explanation for Congress's collective failure to see problems coming until it's too late. Maybe now that the money and any chance of political resurrection are going, Bob Ney can get some objectivity and credibility back. I doubt it.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate everything Bob Ney has done for the valley is a hypocrit! You reap all the benefits of his hard work and enjoy the fruits of his labors (legal and questionable). I bet not one of you turn down anything Ney was responsible for because it may have been the result of unethical behavior!

I am from Coshocton County. Bob Ney did a lot for us. If Mr.Ney was able to run for office, I would support and vote for him, again. Good luck, Bob, on your new venture.

How is it that people like Ney and Ollie North can get jobs after turning coat on their country? Bob, you put your own personal gain ahead of your country. Your opinions mean less to us than Bernie Madoff's. At least he wasn't hired to represent us.

Ya Know,,, this radio station is really something and so is its futile listeners, (which, I'm NOT one of them)and never will be. Here's a man, who was voted in & respected to lead & support the "American People", and we justify his wrong doing, no matter what. That's a blind eye to justice...You's might just as well, hire the State Worker who just got fired for transporting drugs in a State own car, no differance, to me. It's a ratings thing with the Radio Station, but did ya have to go and do this ?? Instead of leaking out C.I.A., secrets & lord only knows what's yet to come because as a Congressman & on all types of committee's, with knowledge of things that "NO" honest taxpayer even knows, why not just let all the thing's ya know about bribe's & scandal's & pay-off's & the behind the scenes stuff that goes on, up-on-the-hill and in our Local Government's...I bet you could fill a room, with that information !! This is just another way of " WHEN THE SYSTEM FAILS ". I guess this is just a prelude of getting yourself back into the public eye & down the road running or getting into some public office, again !! And, WVLY your ratings must really be "BAD" to do this to the American Honest Tax-payer. I will be getting in touch with The Department of Home-Land Security, about the, in many cases classified things, that are being discussed on-air, that alot of people shouldn't know or even have the security clearance to hear ! God Bless The U.S.A.
