Doug Stephan's Good Day has been the "warm up act" for Howard Monroe for over a decade. An engaging personality brings a variety of guests, topics and callers to the early morning.

Howard Monroe and the Morning Show offers more news and information than any other Ohio Valley Talk station. CNN News, West Virginia Metro News, The Ohio News Network, plus local news, weather and sports. But the key ingredient is plenty of conversation on Ohio Valley issues. Howard's opinions are often talked about from City Hall to the Halls of Congress. He has been named 3 times as one of the "Most Important Talk Hosts in America" by Talkers magazine.

Hoppy Kercheval with Statewide "Talkine" continues live and local programming. You can often hear WVLY's Howard Monroe as a guest and occasionally as guest host on the most popular talk show in the State of West Virginia. Hoppy was recently named as one of the 10 most influential people in the State.
Noon
Our live and local programming continues with Talk of the Town. Hosted by Dr. Scott Shalaway, this show focuses on community involvement and "news you can use. There are daily interviews withOhio Valley experts in fields like health and medicine, finance, travel, and even local history. Scott features a "Song of the Day" that will be different from music you hear aywhere else on the radio plus you may hear comedy bits, movie reviews, and of course plenty of listener phone calls.

The Bob Ney Radio Show brings one of the Ohio Valley's most popular and powerful politicians to talk radio. Once known as "The Mayor of Capital Hill", Ney brings decades of experience at the pinnacle of power, as well as a background in Ohio politics, to his daily analysis and reporting on the day's news.

The Dennis Miller Show features the popular and erudite stand-up comic with daily irreverant rants, offbeat interviews, and a dash of political posturing as well.

Stephanie Miller is one of the funniest and most entertaining of the new breed "progressive" talk show host. A daily dose of "right wing news" will skewer the conservative slant of many of today's talk radio and tv shows, her supportig band of "mooks" will have you laughing as you start seeing some of today's political issues in a different way.

Mystery Theater. Once upon a time, families gathered around the radio for evenings of drama,mystery, and suspense.Those days are back every night from 10 to midnite.
