I went to the correspondent's dinner last night and was spotted by Politico.

The Washington Examiner caught me having dinner.   

Wow, in the old days I avoided being spotted, today I would be depressed if I wasn"t :-)

The dinner was very good, I saw former staffers, current reporters, Members of Congress, Cabinet Members, former cabinet members.

Alberto Gonzales slithered out before I could invite him on my show.

The stars were about,  got a chance to have a good chat with Matthew Modine  (Full Metal Jacket).

 All in all, a great time, and I could not have asked for a better reception.  The President brought down the house.  He was humorous and well received --of course he was well received, it was the media in attendance !!!!

The highlight also, for me, was spending time with my friend, Ellen Ratner, Talk Radio News Service, who,  beyond being a fantastic human being and friend, can provide some great news if you click onto the talk radio news service website.  The picture at the top of this post was from last night's dinner and taken by TRNS' staffer Jay Tamboli. I had a good week with my show,  some great guests, and good conversation. As always, you can tune to wvly on the internet right here on this page.
